Congratulations to Andrew Rapp for winning the pizza award last week with a fantastic 221 game (+61) in the second game last week. We still haven't had a lucky ball winner for the last several weeks and the jackpot is starting to approach $200 -- remember to bring an extra sawbuck with you to bowling so you can enter for your chance to win!
During this week's bowling Tim will be handing out one $10 grocery store gift card to each team, which you could use toward your Thanksgiving turkey purchase -- we encourage each team to have your own pins-over-average game or series competition to determine who will win the award!
Finally, the arrival of the holiday season means that we will soon be having our annual Holiday Pot Luck party -- this year's event is scheduled for December 13th, or three weeks from this coming Tuesday. We will be canvassing teams to ask for entrees, sides and desserts, so start thinking about what you want to bring with you. Our last several events have been hugely successful, so let's see if we can do even better this year! That same night we will also be hosting a special colored pin competition -- in addition to regular league bowling, if you get a strike with a colored pin in the head pin spot, you will win a door prize!
In terms of our holiday schedule, we will be off the week of December 27th, but that will be the only week we take off this year. As always, if your holiday travels (or any other plans) conflict with bowling, you are welcome and encouraged to pre-bowl at Town Line Tenpin before you leave.
