Week 3 and 4 Results, and Pre-Bowling

We've had some big scores the last few weeks!  Congratulations to our pizza winners Tony Perry and Mike Amarena for bowling +43 and +41 over their averages respectively in weeks 3 and 4.  Kudos also to Tim Yaeger, who took over the men's season scratch high game with an exciting and near-perfect 288 game in week 3!  Sean Knight took over the men's season scratch high series mark in week 4 with a 704 series, and Juan Ramirez now holds both the men's season handicap high game and series with his performance in week 4.  But it's Rose Bayani who is the woman to beat in all four categories on the women's side with her outstanding bowling in the first four weeks of the season!

In the team standings, Minds in the Gutter holds down the top spot with a slim two-point lead over Lickety Splits, with Pin Pricks and Low Hangers only four points out of first.

For those who are new, pre-bowling is a popular option for players who know they will be missing a week of bowling due to other commitments.  Our league has a very flexible policy about pre-bowling, which allows you to complete your scheduled bowling prior to the Tuesday night you will miss.  The only thing we ask is that you notify one of the officers, either in person or via our league e-mail at beantown-north // at // comcast // dot // net.

You can read more about pre-bowling here.  And, of course, any league officer is happy to explain any of our league policies for you during bowling should you have any questions.  See you tomorrow!
