A Few Notes About Pre-Bowling

Pre-bowling is a popular option for league members to avoid missing a night of league play -- especially with the holiday season coming up -- by going to the lanes ahead of time to bowl your three games.  The process is very easy -- simply go to the lanes and tell the front desk that you are there to pre-bowl, and they will assign you a pair of lanes to play on.  (You are allowed to practice for your normal ten minutes.)  Enter as much of your full name as possible on the scoring console, then proceed to bowl your games, alternating between lanes as we do during normal league play.  Once your three games are complete, tell the front desk that you are done, and ask them to print out the score sheet so that you can sign your full name on the sheet, as well as the date you are pre-bowling for.  (If by chance the person at the desk doesn't know what pre-bowling is, ask for a manager -- someone there should always be able to help you.)

We offer two reminders for those of you who wish to pre-bowl.  First, please notify one of the officers in advance of your pre-bowling -- you can do this either in person or by sending an e-mail to our league address at beantown-north //at// comcast //dot// net.  Second, please indicate your full name on the score sheet -- we have several Mikes and Johns in the league, and if two of you pre-bowl without signing your full name, we may not enter your scores correctly!
