First off, congratulations to Michael Savitt and Brian Treanor for winning our first two pizza awards of the season -- Brian won last week for a lovely 211 game (+44) in the second game.
Our early team leaders in the point standings are Minds in the Gutter and Lickety Splits, followed by three other teams only two points behind them. Our season is divided into three nine-week trimesters, and the teams with the most points at the end of each trimester will each earn a spot in our end-of-season playoffs -- they will be joined by the wild-card team with the most season-long points who did not win one of the trimesters.
Note also that the weekly and season high scores are now displayed on the weekly standings sheets -- our current holders of the season high game and series honors include Sean Knight, Bill Black, Michael Savitt, Karen Grenier and KC Currie.
