This Thursday, August 11th, the Beantown North Bowling League is hosting a Summer Happy Hour event at Fritz in Boston's South End, starting at 7:00pm. Fritz has graciously donated pizzas for the event, and we're hoping to have a great showing from league members so that we can advertise ourselves to potential bowlers and spent a nice evening socializing! Friends and loved ones are welcome as well -- you can RSVP at our Evite here.
On Tuesday, August 23rd, we will be hosting our annual Open House event at Town Line Tenpin in Malden, which will be a chance to work off the rust from the summer and get ready for a new year of competition! Once again we'll be serving pizzas for all attendees -- it will also be a great chance to invite friends who might be interested in joining us for the season.
On Sunday, August 28th, the two Beantown leagues (North and South) will join together to host a table at the End-of-Summer Sports Tea Dance sponsored by PrideSports Boston at dbar in Dorchester, from 4 to 8pm. This will likely be a huge events with all of the major Boston sports leagues represented, so this will be a huge opportunity for us to meet and socialize with our counterparts from not only the South league but the Boston gay sports community in general.
Finally, our new season kicks off on Tuesday, September 6th, with our organizational and "fun bowling" night at Town Line Tenpin.
