Congratulations to Rob Silliman for running away with the pizza competition last week -- his 255 game was a huge 93 pins over his average! (Watch out everyone, those lessons are starting to pay off!) That game puts Rob in third place for the year in the Men's High Handicap Game category.
There were quite a few high scores last week -- the race for the playoffs is heating up, and people have picked up their games to pull out the second playoff birth. With two weeks of bowling left, 4 Pins 8 Balls sit in first place by 6 points over Andy's Angels, and 8 points ahead of Three Finger Mary's.
This Tuesday we will be distributing sign-up forms for various league committees -- we are looking for volunteers to help us with the end-of-season awards and the league banquet, as well as committees to nominate officers for next year and to review the league by-laws. For the most part these committees do not require a significant investment of time, but they are a great help to the officers and they give more people a chance to have a say in different aspects of how the league operates. If you have any questions about any of the committees, Rob or Sean would be happy to answer them. Thank you!
